This mode allows the eBike to remain steady on an incline without rolling backwards, simply by placing a foot on the pedal. This helps, for example, when starting on a slope without having to use the brakes to prevent the eBike from rolling back. No additional accessory is required to use this function, as it activates (unless disabled in the MySmartbike app or in the Head Unit+ menu) when a slope is detected and the user applies force to the pedal.
When the mode is activated, the following graphic will appear on the screen.
In this state, if button 2 on the TRIO or the main button on the Head Unit+ is pressed, the display will return to the normal screen, and a symbol will appear in the lower left corner indicating that Auto Hold mode is active.
When the user decides to start riding, it is important not to activate the eBike brakes.
